So I have been doing a lot of thinking about my part in this hobby, my dolls and photography mostly and when Kristen was here we did a lot of doll talking and playing and oogling over other people's dolls and photography. Kristen said something to me that has stuck with me ever since, we were looking at someone's dolls and she mentioned how their dolls were all so "interesting". Then I started thinking how true that was and how important that was.

I then started thinking about my own dolls and wondered why I did not get the urge to photograph some of them and I think it is because they lack something "interesting". Sure they may be "pretty", decent face up and clothes but to me that is not really all that interesting and along the lines of boring. I think this is an exciting revelation and I really need to look into my own dolls and figure out a solution.

I don't want anymore boring pretty dolls but more interesting dolls. What makes a doll interesting? there are so many things and I need find out what that is and be more creative to and put forth this into my dolls and make it exciting for me again.

I really wish I could start this whole hobby all over again from the beginning as I would do it so differently but now I have said doll and have put work into said doll and gave said doll a name and have become somewhat attached it is too hard to let go Y_Y I really hate that and how I get attached to inanimate objects.

According to LUTS, they will have Type 3 boy body for all the SDF boy heads... and I want the body. XD;
I don't need the head, so was wondering if anyone would like to split with me? :D

So kittymaru was here for the weekend and we went to a few places and took dollie pics! So. In the few days of non-lj-ness, I have been...

... playing Halo ODST like there is no tomorrow. I unlocked the 200k achievement at Crater, and am planning to crack the 200k in the other arenas too. Also started the campaign on Legendary difficulty mode. I also started my career on Halo Waypoint and watched the anime episode The Babysitter. It was cute. I liked it. And now reading Halo: Fall of Reach. Johhhhhhnnnnnnnnn.

... watched three discs of Tudors season 2. Am glad Anne is out of the way now.

... reached 18,200 words for my NaNo! Yay!

... suffering the heatwave! It's just barely spring here, and Melbourne's heating up like a cooker. MAN. It makes sitting in front of the computer really unappetizing.

Hello there,

From the last meet up, I did suggested to make or organized a meet up in my house for this time. I did some private and small meet up last time, as I know my house was pretty far. >_> But this time, I'm opening for all and for those who able and interested to join, do drop your name here so we could plan stuff and all.

Date will be on 29 November 2009 and time will be around 10am till evening time. The eyes are safely in my hands xDDD
So far most of the eyes look good (omgthecolours/dies) and the head count is all right. I've piled them up according to owners so if any of you owners wouldn't mind me/would like me to take a pic of your doll eyes before the meet, please let me know xD I'd love to take a pic of all of them together, but I'd like your permissions first xD
